If I want to get into this business, I suppose I should prepare to get up for many more Sunday programs.

I like how they’re trying to make the Giffords tragedy an examination of how we let the more extreme events and sections of the parties guide our discourse.

But I’m afraid that already conservatives, seeking to deflect any blame that may be cast for their ‘reload’ gun rhetoric, will begin attacking Democrats for their equally direct attacks made in the course of the Midterms, and then we’ll all be drawn into it again, and nothing will change. :(
